IMPACT - COASTAL FLOODING

Increasingly warm ocean waters means potentially stronger storms. U.S. east coast winter storms have increased in frequency and intensity since the 1950s. 2018 saw four back-to-back Northeastern storms with coastal communities experiencing damaging high tide flooding.
