The 2020 Democratic and Republican national conventions demonstrated the stark differences in how the two parties have dealt with the Covid-19 pandemic. The Democrats followed CDC guidelines and stages a virtual convention. The Republicans had a family and friends gathering without social distancing or mask wearing staged at the White House.
