CLIMATE CHANGE: CAUSE - BURNING OF COAL

The burning of coal is the single largest contributor to greenhouse gases that cause climate change. In coal producing states like Jharkhand in India coal is still an integral part of the economy and in daily life. This illustrates the challenge of moving away from coal to more sustainable sources of energy.
